I’m going to be moving to the US and I’m fortunate enough to be able to pick the State where I’ll be living.

What are the states in the US that don’t assess tax on income?

The following is a list of US states that don’t have individual tax on income:

  • Alaska
  • Florida
  • Nevada
  • New Hampshire
  • South Dakota
  • Tennessee
  • Texas
  • Washington
  • Wyoming

 
Please note that although these states don’t have income tax on individual income they may have business taxes on self employed earnings such as Washington.
