Peter Cameron - Manager

As a Manager at Hutcheson & Co., Peter brings specialized expertise in US-Canada cross-border taxation, holding dual certification as both a Canadian and U.S. Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). His international background, beginning in the United Kingdom where he earned his BA (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from Bournemouth University, provides him with a unique global perspective.

After emigrating to Canada in 2011 and working in Whistler Blackcomb’s finance department, Peter moved to Victoria to pursue his Canadian CPA designation, which he achieved in 2020. He further enhanced his cross-border capabilities by obtaining his US CPA license (Washington State) in 2023, completing eight years of valuable public practice experience before joining Hutcheson & Co. in 2024.

When not serving clients with their cross-border tax needs, Peter, now a proud Canadian citizen, enjoys exploring Vancouver Island, volunteering in the local community, and playing soccer.
